How's it going?

Ladies,
I hope you are working on memorizing your verses!  I know for me at first it seemed like I couldn't get past the first few words but here it goes from memory...Heb. 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, anyone that comes to him must believe that he exists, and that he rewards those that earnestly seek him.  I promise I just did that without looking at my notes.  I had to just repeat it over and over to my self for a few days, I put it on my phone in my notes I re-wrote it.  So, let me know how you are doing and don't forget we are moving on the verse #2 on Saturday the 15th!  Don't be discouraged just keep moving forward.
take care and stay warm!

p.s. i just checked myself and I missed one word "because"  pretty good, i'll take that as success!

Way to go Girls!

I'm so proud of you all for taking this challenge to grow your knowledge in our Lord.  I know we will all be blessed and I can't wait to see the fruit of our labor.

I want you to know that this blog is for you all.  I want it to be a place to ask for help, guidance and prayer for what's going on in your lives.  Please don't mention names if you need help with an issue that involves another person, we do not want to gossip or hurt any one's credibility.  I know as women we need an outlet and we need to share our hurts, excitement, blessings and just about anything that happens to us.  So feel free to share but be mindful in protecting those around us.  If I feel like anything is inappropriate I will not post it to the group.

I want to strongly encourage you to get involved in a Life Group(if you attend one of the FOTP campus'), if you attend another church and they offer Bible study, Home groups or whatever your church calls them, GET INVOLVED!  Why do I so strongly encourage that?  IT is vital to your growth as a follower of Christ.  He wants us to be in fellowship/relations with other believers to help us avoid Satan's schemes.  I use to think I could be a "lone ranger christian" it's impossible and it's not biblical.

I know it's hard to find the time but we have to make time for what's important and our walk with Christ needs to be at the top of our list of to do's!  If you don't attend Church on a regular basis make that a priority this year whether at FOTP or another church just find one that teaches Biblical truths and go.  Okay, I'll get off that bandwagon for now.

Another thing I want to clarify at this time is I won't let this blog get hung up on denominational differences, everyone is welcome here!  WE will stand on the truths of God's word, The Bible, that is what we will defend that is why we are on a mission to memorize!

I don't want to take anymore of your time so have a Blessed Day and put those verses everywhere you need them to engrave them on your HEART!!

with love,
vonda
